How We Ran This

So what software do construction companies use when off-the-shelf tools fall short? For this client, the answer was a custom build, delivered as a team extension inside a codebase already strained by outdated dependencies.

Discovery & Scoping

We began by defining project requirements, estimating complexity, cost, and the delivery timeline, and selecting a tech stack of Java, Vue, PostgreSQL, and Jenkins. After joining, our developer flagged the outdated libraries that had shaped the project's technical direction.

Execution & Tracking

Our engineers worked alongside the client's team to build the construction project management software for small business, with regular and transparent communication on progress, priorities, and adjustments. Their work covered the custom UI library, dashboard, centralized projects list, built-in tracker and calendar, in-app messenger, and Kanban board.

Quality & Delivery

Alongside the build, we wrote detailed documentation for the custom UI library so the client's developers could maintain it after the engagement ended. Building the troubled components from scratch kept the system scalable and under the client's control, contributing to 50% less manual work, 45% more employee capacity, and 30% savings on development costs.
